Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for a high energy, highly adaptable and outgoing personality to manage team members and execute on a variety of accounts at Magnolia. This individual is results-driven, highly organized and self-directed with a proactive approach towards work. The ideal candidate should be able to catch whatever we may throw at them and run with it effectively. They can also be described as a leader with a strong ability to communicate clearly on all tasks and given expectations, particularly in the case of short deadlines. This person will bring creativity, leadership and deliver results as they lead multiple digital marketing accounts. The ideal candidate lives and breathes B2B discussions and are not afraid to use their leadership skills to take their accounts to a new level of excellence.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Skills

  • Project manage multiple digital marketing accounts
  • Responsible for meeting KPI expectations of campaigns
  • Execute on digital marketing campaigns and projects such as, but not limited to, LinkedIn ads, Facebook ads, SEM and more
  • Execute on and leverage martech platforms as needed, including but not limited to Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.
  • Responsible for product quality of the deliverables (emails, landing page, social media, martech integration)
  • Take a strong data driven, analytics approach with the internal team to recommend campaign performance
  • Recommend creative and outside the box campaigns for client accounts
  • Perform creative research and can understand the characteristics of high performing digital campaigns
  • Define and report key metrics to monitor user experience and digital marketing campaign effectiveness including ROI
  • Own the aggregation of data across the various digital channels

Account & Client Management

  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients
  • Operate as main point person for details related to digital marketing campaigns (including but not limited to paid and organic social ads, SEM, SEO, Hubspot, Mailchimp, SalesForce, email marketing, WordPress, WiX, and Shopify)
  • You will be client facing
  • Oversee projects and ensure that digital marketing campaigns run smoothly from start to finish
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to work with teams and clients, and also have marketing skillsets to both manage accounts and build strategy
  • Be the point person for launch dates, reporting, client management and creative assets
  • Identifies oddities in performance & develop working theories and solutions for them with team members
  • Maintaining and managing account budgets

Leadership and Team Management

  • Responsible for managing the digital marketing team, supporting them in their client accounts and managing the overall success of the team
  • Ensure QA for all digital accounts
  • Support team members with their professional development
  • Be part of Magnolia’s leadership team, including bringing new ideas and recommendations to improve and grow Magnolia’s digital services / accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar level certificate related to marketing, digital marketing or communications desired
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in digital marketing; prior experience working in an agency is an asset
  • Experience managing multiple team members
  • Experience and knowledge of all key social media channels and platforms (Sprout Social, Hootesuite, etc.)
  • Experience with digital platforms (Google, Asana, etc.)
  • Understanding of and experience using various martech softwares such as Hubspot, Marketo, SalesForce, etc.
  • Experience running and managing SEO, SEM, analytics, paid social advertising, social media, Google Adwords
  • Keen interest and working experience in B2B industries such as high technology, finance industry are a must
  • Creative, analytical and personable skillset
  • Understanding and experience using Google Analytics, link tracking, conversion pixels/tags, and online attribution concepts.
  • You have high confidence in using and analyzing data and high attention to detail and accuracy are a matter of personal pride
  • You are diligent and responsive, a confident note taker, and patient when needed
  • You are a can-do, multi-tasking, hard-working team player, confident and well organized, calm under pressure
