Open Digital Marketing Specialist in Vancouver

**This is for a 1-year full-time contract to start, with a possibility of extension at renewal.
We are looking for an experienced B2B marketer who is highly motivated and customer-driven to fulfill a 1-year full-time contract position. Our agency continues to grow with deep vertical marketing experience. If you are results-driven, analytical, and highly organized, and have high proficiency in digital marketing, then this role is for you.
The ideal candidate should be able to catch whatever we may throw at them and run with it effectively. They can also be described as a team player with a strong ability to communicate clearly on all tasks and given expectations, particularly in the case of short deadlines. This person will bring creativity, technical capabilities, leadership and deliver results as they lead multiple digital marketing accounts.

Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
- Highly personalized and targeted campaigns at niche market;
- Strong knowledge of personalized campaigns and customer journeys, creating multiple touch points in the journey for B2B, niche marketing
- Linked Ads proficiency is a must and leadership to drive strong results is needed
- Strong analytical skills to look at data to measure campaigns
- Has a strong creative lens to understand what ads, copy would be effective to drive demand generation
Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
- Develop, manage and execute successful PPC campaigns across multiple platforms such as Google, Facebook, Bing, LinkedIn, and others
- Display in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of paid media platforms, their respective participants (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Bing, YouTube.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and other tracking tools.
- Analyze campaign performance, comparing current campaign execution strategies with new ideas to find incremental improvements
- Experience working with Google Ads Editor/Microsoft Editor
- Understanding of technical platforms to manage accounts
- Continuously monitor, optimize and refine PPC campaigns to maximize results, including monitoring budgets and bids, and adjusting ad copy and targeting as needed
- Thorough understanding of the latest trends in PPC
Content and SEO
- Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and pages.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (Semrush, aHrefs, GSC)
- In-depth knowledge of core web vitals, on-page optimization, and technical SEO
- Familiarity with how structured data markup works for SEO

Managing Digital Marketing Campaigns
- Project manage multiple digital marketing accounts
- Responsible for meeting KPI expectations of campaigns
- Responsible for product quality of the deliverables (emails, landing page, social media, martech integration)
- Take a strong data-driven, analytics approach with the internal team to recommend campaign performance and improvements for current campaigns
- Recommend creative and outside-the-box campaigns for client accounts
- Perform research and can understand the characteristics of high performing digital campaigns
- Define and report key metrics to monitor user experience and digital marketing campaign effectiveness including ROI
- Own the aggregation of data across the various digital channels
- Draft in-depth analysis and reports for client use to showcase campaign performance and identify gaps/areas for improvements based on data
Account and Client Management
- Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients
- Operate as main point person for details related to digital marketing campaigns (including but not limited to; paid and organic social ads, Google Ads/SEM, SEO, Hubspot, Mailchimp, SalesForce, email marketing, WordPress, WiX, and Shopify)
- Oversee projects and ensure that digital marketing campaigns run smoothly from start to finish
- Have strong interpersonal skills to work with teams and clients, and also have marketing skillsets to both manage accounts and build strategy
- Be the point person for launch dates, reporting, client management and creative assets
- Identifies oddities in performance & develop working theories and solutions for them with team members
- Maintaining and managing account budgets
Application Requirements for the 1-year Full-time Digital Marketing Specialist Position
- Bachelor’s degree or similar level certificate related to marketing, digital marketing and communications desired
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in digital marketing preferred; prior experience working in an agency is an asset
- Keen interest and working experience in B2B industries such as high technology, finance industry are a must
- Creative, analytical and personable skillset
- Ability to set-up and execute on digital marketing campaigns
- Technical skills and experience running digital marketing campaigns from start to finish; including paids ads, SEM, SEO, email marketing
- Understanding and experience using Google Analytics, link tracking, conversion pixels/tags, and online attribution concepts.
- Experience with digital platforms (Google, Asana, etc.)
- Understanding and experience using various martech software such as Hubspot, Marketo, SalesForce, etc.
- You have high confidence in using and analyzing data and high attention to detail and accuracy are a matter of personal pride
- You are diligent and responsive, a confident note-taker, and patient when needed
- You are a can-do, multi-tasking, hard-working team player, confident and well organized, calm under pressure
